Pensacola Florida 8/18/24 11:10PM. An hour ago. Someone posted this site in a reddit thread I found when looking for answers. It started as a bright orb hovering over the ocean. It was a deep orange light like an old tungsten bulb (most accurate to the color). So still I thought it was a star, but it was in front of the clouds. I asked my husband if it was a satellite because it was too far up to be a plane or drone. It hung there for five minutes or so. Suddenly it started moving to the right in the sky, to the south, then rapidly got closer…as it got closer (flying southeast, in my right field of vision) it appeared to be a cloaked aircraft with a blinking green light on the left side. No discernible edges to the craft.The bright orb light was gone and in its place was this weird flashing object. No clue what the shape was, again, no outline. Just a green light on one side and I think the other light was red (only the green was flashing). It was totally silent. I watched it approach the high rise to my right in awe, my husband didnt look up from his nintendo switch lol. I was stunned silent. I watched it fly silently until I lost sight of it over the high rise to my right. Would have thought it was a drone if not for the first half of this story, where it started as a bright, completely stationary orange orb.
