Bobcat Woods, Tally FL
Anytime you are here
A bobcat
Centuries old
More like a panther in form
Wings of bat, horns of goat, claws of iron
The fae despise, the wicked loathe
Protector of the forest, known and unknown
A family It is tied to, eight generations here
Followed from farm to neighborhood, It holds us close
All it asks
Is that you, stranger, leave no trace
Unless permitted
By those it gives grace
Ask the amber eyed panther, she walks on two paws
She will tell you the story
And through her claws you will see
And you shall learn
The moon twined bobcat panther
Its story may burn bright throughout
The mind of Its human dear
Its always echoing call throughout
The forest in which she lives near
