i don't remember the details *too* clearly, but it was strange enough that it's stuck with me for almost 10 years. My grandfather had passed in 2014, a year or so before this happened. My mom had told me to call my grandma, probably just to talk since she had become lonely after his death, and at that age I hadn't really gotten comfortable speaking on the phone. When the call was picked up, I heard my dead grandfather's voice say "Hello?" multiple times, as if he was trying to see if anyone was on the other end. Like I said, I wasn't comfortable w phone calls, and w out knowing what to say, I hung up. I told my mom what happened, and she called my grandma's number back, and she picked up like normal. There weren't any workers at her house that could've picked up for her that I mistook a man's voice for, and although her voicemail was still recorded by him, the answer was clearly a question, and not the prerecorded message. I still have so much guilt over it, because as a kid I got scared and hung up when I could've let my mom speak to her dad one last time (since he was answering to her phone number and probably thought it was her), and also it would just be so cool to say I've spoken to a ghost. this is the only truly paranormal experience i've had, and really don't know what else it could be.
