So my dad had just gotten in a bad accident where he fell and broke a bunch of bones and my mom just found out she was pregnant with twins. We had no house so we were staying with my grandma. The night my dad fell, I wasn’t aloud to go to the hospital with them, mind you I was only 6. So I got to have a “sleepover” with my grandma. We stayed up pretty late because she was trying to help me have fun since I was pretty worried about my dad. We were in the kitchen at around 1:15 AM, and we were making milk shakes when we heard a loud noise from the back of the house. She lived out in the middle of nowhere and only had one neighbor that was kinda far away. So she went with me to investigate and a huge flower pot was knocked over but there was no way for it to fall over because it was extremely to heavy for one of her cats to knock it over and she couldn’t even lift it up herself. Then another noise from the kitchen. When we got back the blender was on but it was unplugged… I started crying because it was really scary and I was 6! So we got in bed and it was about 2:30 AM by now. She was rubbing my head and then she just stopped. I asked her why but then she whispered, “Look at the curtain…” I looked over and there was a huge black shadow hovering on it. She asked and we both saw it! She immediately turned the light on but it was still there. Then she grabbed a fly swatter and grabbed my hand. She just started chanting, “WE ARE NOT AFRAID OF YOU LEAVE MY HOME!” Over and over. Then it sort of faded and to this day I still have no idea who or what was in her house. I also have not talked to her in like 5-6 months because she is a narcissist:(
