...near my house there is a sort of hiking trail that ive been on before so I chose to take my dog there on a late evening hike to relax and watch the view, while hiking i felt like i was being watched so i used the flashlight on my phone to look around and I saw a pair of eyes looking at me from a hill about 50ft away from me and it scared me badly but I chose to keep going. eventually me and my dog took a break and I took some photos, while i was taking photos my normally very energetic border collie who barks and gets defensive if she sees anything that moves, started the freak out whinning and looking around the area as if she was trying to find something, around the same time I got really spooked because I was hearing noises near by that where not a deer or different animal because it sounded like a person trying to speak. so me and my dog left as fast as we could without running because from folklore if you run the monsters... will see you as prey and try hunting you. after getting off the trail I heard something right behind me and at that moment I went into fight or flight and told my dog to run home since she knows the way and I started running as well, yes I know bad idea but I wasnt thinking right, I made it home in only a few minutes. when I got home my mom told me how my sister had a similar experince as I did where she felt like she was being watched. since that night I have heard knocking outside my bedroom door from the outside since my bedroom is next to the patio, I am scared it might be that thing from that night trying to lure me outside. i told my girlfriend this story and she said its probaly because I keep doing the stuff that might lure them to me I havent gone outside alone at night since then in fear. I do have a photo of my dog when she was looking around in fear from that night
