I moved from the cities to central WI three years ago while spending my time exploring the woods around the area. I found this chunk of public land in the forest and decided to explore for awhile. Almost every single time I went there, I had some sort of paranormal or supernatural experience. It is almost like a magnet for strange things to happen there. It first started off seeing many signs of the fae being there, until my friend and I actually saw the fae right in front of our eyes. Wasn't the last time we would experience them either. Whispers in the dark, bells, fairey circles, seeing tall figures, unexplainable marks and bruises, you name it. That wasn't the only thing there either. If you go there at dusk alone with no form of technology, it is with almost certainty that you will hear a loud screech, feel like you are being watched, hear something follow you around, and feel breathing on your neck. Happened to me four times and will never go back without some type of protection. Another reencounter that seems to happen there is what my friends have named Oreo. It is this ten-twelve feet tall creature with long legs, a white face, and glowing white eyes. It can run super fast on all fours or walk normally on two. One time a group of us were there in the dark when we all saw Oreo staring at us; we almost pissed ourselves and went home. Oreo has been seen from time to time but never hurts anyone so that's cool. These are just a few examples of what has been seen or experienced out in these woods. I have had friends enter it as 100% nonbelievers and leave as 100% believers in the supernatural. If you ever decide to go, there is a good entrance point on Ranger Road by the dirt parking lot; you'll see it. Please bring someone to go with you and do not trespass onto other peoples land.
