São Paulo, State of São Paulo, Brazil

Translation: This quarry is a very old place and today there are constructions for the future Orange Line subway station in SP, but before all these events it was a large quarry and the mining process was carried out there. The quarry was active until around 2018/2019. I remember until the last year of school when I came home and heard the sound of the siren and the booms like earthquakes. What happened there no one knew for sure, but the big hole that was caused by the explosions always ended up filling with water, it was even a place where many people went to swim as if it were a “river” or a “lake” to cool off in the heat. . There are many rumors that people had already died there trying to swim in the deep waters of that immense hole. Rumors that even a person who came from another state tried to live in SP and was killed and his body was thrown into those waters. It's a place with a very negative and heavy energy, you can feel constant fear and chills there. There is another testimony from a man who was a friend of my grandfather who has since passed away and worked as a security guard there, he said that there were nights that were weird and he could hear footsteps of people walking around there. Once they even heard the chains on the quarry gate dragging and there was no one working, just the security guards. Another interesting fact is that the quarry is located on a street where there is also an abandoned cinema and an old Catholic church where there is an underground space full of empty rooms with ritual writings on the walls. You can look on Google if you want: https://maps.app.goo.gl/NYzeMNEAkz9rhzMr7?g_st=ic All the facts are true and it was witnessed by me during my school days, we used to go to these corners to drink at night, escape from class and some went to have a smoke or something, but something else always awaits us.

What Is A Liminal Map?

Spooky things happen every day all around us! Instead of brushing these peculiar moments and bizarre encounters off as chance, or mere coincidence, what if we talked about them, mapped them, and tried to decode the message?

Is there a specific place where you've seen fairies, ghosts, bigfoot, time travelers, extraterrestrials, ultraterrestrials, crow conferences, sentient lawn computers, lanyard'd ogres, broccoli wizards, etc.? Does your town have an urban legend you'd love to get to the bottom of?
