While checking out at the Ballard Trader Joes on an otherwise dull day, I looked across the check out counter to see a normal looking middle aged woman in a pantsuit at the opposite counter staring at me. She then proceeded to open her mouth wide and distort it into a round oval shape (think, \”The Ring\”) and looked at me unblinking for minutes and minutes as I tried to look away. Nobody around her noticed or acted like she was acting unusual. She even picked up her coffee as I did, and started to mimic my movements with her 0-shaped mouth unmoving. Pretty sure she was some kind of demon…..
